Professor Yembise, (M.A Simon Fraser University — Canada and PhD University of Newcastle — Australia) is Head of the English Education Masters Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Cenderawasih University, Jayapura. Professor Yembise is the first female Papuan to become
a full professor in Indonesia (2012) also serving as
Indonesia's Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in
President Joko Widodo's first-term Cabinet (2014-2019).
