Sunrise Journal is a highly-readable, user-friendly platform that is succinct i.e ‘right to the point.’ Submission length is therefore restricted to 1,000 words in total written in Standard British English.
Articles must identify a contemporary challenge or problem and then generate a solution or solutions together with positive recommendations that inspire further thinking on the topic.
Contributions must include a title and subtitle as well as full authorship including author(s) brief biographical details. This is included in the 1,000-word restriction as well as a 250-word abstract, a 500-word argument and a a 250-word conclusion with recommendations.
Consistent with the requirement to generate positive solutions, Sunrise Journal will not accept contributions that are considered by the
Editorial Board to be political, partisan, or sectarian in nature.
Every new edition of Sunrise Journal will feature a theme which will be determined by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the Editorial Board. Topics for future editions will be announced on this web site.
No more than five references can be included using the Harvard author/date reference system together with a final standard bibliography. Submissions must be in MS Word format, New Times Roman 12 point font pain text.
High resolution photographs, illustrations and graphs are encouraged and not included in the 1,000 word restriction.
